The Export Inspection Council of India (EIC) set up under the Export Quality Control and Inspection Act of 1963 is the official export certification body of India. Besides advising the Government on sound development of export trade through quality control and inspection, EIC operates export inspection and certification through its field organizations. EIC has a major role in facilitating export through a credible inspection and certification system that has been recognized by many countries across the world. Efforts are continuously being made to increase the number of products and countries in the recognized certification list.
 
Our organization has come a long way from thick volumes of manuals and notifications in fine print to information being available at no cost on the click of a button.
